Birthday Brunch

New York, New York

It’s been exactly a year since my first visit to New York, and I’m beyond excited to be back! There are so many things I didn’t get around to doing/visiting/drinking/eating during my last trip here, so I’m grateful for this visit that I’ve been longing for ever since I boarded the plane back to Copenhagen last March.

I arrived Wednesday, an hour or two before Carina, my friend from Munich, whom I’m here with till Wednesday. The both of us were supposed to have arrived on Tuesday, but the major NYC snowstorm caused a minor delay.

So far we’ve been busy visiting various specialty coffeeshops, cute West Village cafés, eating burgers, donuts and diner food, being cultural at MoMa, enjoying some delicious ramen at Totto Ramen (Hell’s Kitchen), walking the High Line, riding the subway and chilling in Brooklyn. There are so many things I wanna do and places I wanna visit, but I guess it’ll take me many more visits to the city before I can say I’ve seen/done/eaten everything I wanted to!

Tomorrow I’ll share a breakfast/brunch recommendation on here, and next week I’ll have a New York city guide ready for y’all, so stay tuned! For now, here’s a few snapshots from the past few days:
